The term is "word painting!" The canonical example is an aria in Handel's Messiah, which the Wikipedia entry helpfully transcribes, but I like the Belle and Sebastian example a lot, since I don't think you can't get a painting much more abstract than self-identity (or, if you like, "iteration").
